Upcoming Holiday Programmes and Cricket Camps
The Club has put together a number of progammes to be held during the July School Holidays. The progammes have been specifically designed to meet the needs of each diverse group.
Please read below for more details and how to register. Numbers are limited so you will need to be in quick to secure your spot.
Youth Camp
What? A 3-day skills focused high performance cricket coaching camp
When? Week 1 Tuesday 12th July – Thursday 14th July Week 2 Tuesday 19th July – Thursday 21st July
10am till 3pm
Where? Westlake Boys High School Indoor Cricket Nets
For Whom? Youth players from Year 9 and up
Who’s the Coach? Nick White
Who’s Nick White?
Originally from the North of England, Nick moved to New Zealand for a 6-month playing stint 16 years ago and have lived in Auckland ever since.
Nick has considerable coaching experience including the following:
- Waitakere CC Juniors
- Western Districts
- Director of Cricket at Rangitoto College
- Club Coach at East Coast Bays Cricket
- Auckland Cricket age group representative teams from U14 and up
- Auckland Cricket Men's A team Coach
- Auckland Cricket Talent Identification Manager – a role that included setting up the developing future Auckland HEARTS and Auckland ACES programmes
- Auckland HEARTS Assistant Coach
- Auckland HEARTS Head Coach
Nick’s also taken a number of cricket teams on tours to Australia and India.
How Much? An investment of $70 a session (5 hours) or $180 for all 3 sessions.
How do I register? Register on the Club’s website under the Holiday & Pre Season Programmes tab. Registrations will open on Monday 23rd May.
Session Attendance Number Limit? As this is a high performance skills focused camp each session is limited to 12 attendees.
Girls' School Holiday Programme
What? A 2 session programme focused on Girls' cricket
When? Week 1 Monday 11th July; Week 2 Monday 18th July 10am till 1pm
Where? Westlake Boys High School Indoor Cricket Nets
For Whom? Girls aged 10 and up
Who’s the Coach? Nick White
How Much? An investment of $50 a session
How do I register? Register on the Club’s website under the Holiday & Pre Season Programmes tab. Registrations will open on Monday 23rd May.
Session Attendance Number Limit? As this is a focused session there is a limit of 10 attendees.
Juniors School Holiday Programme
What? A 3 day programme for Junior cricketers
When? Monday 11th July till Wednesday 13th July 9am till 2pm
Where? Rangitoto College Indoor Cricket Nets and Gymnasium
For Whom? Girls up to age 9 and boys aged 5 to 12 catered for.
Who’s the Coach? Coaching will be done by our qualified junior coaches including Auckland ACE, Ryan Harrison.
How Much? An investment of $50 a session with a discount if all 3 sessions booked.
How do I register? Register on the Club’s website under the Holiday & Pre Season Programmes tab. Registrations will open on Monday 23rd May.
Session Attendance Number Limit? No limit on numbers
